More than £1,000,000 worth of Frencli rayon piece goods, velvet, gloves and a variety of other products, will be on the Australian marlcet before the end ot the year, accordmg to Frencli sources. Other products inelude phospliatcs £250^)00, pipes £19,000, paper £2.3,00(1, watches and elocks £.16,000 and machiuery £16,000. Criticising the Govei-nment's reluciance to grant all the import licences s-ought, the French spokesman saut: "Prance will not be satisfied until Australia opens the door to a number oL' other commodities which can be delivered immediately on eompetitive terms. "
