ROYAL NAVY AVIATION
NEW DESIGNATIONS DECIDED Received Tuesday, 10. a.m. LONDON, Sept. 9. The Admiralty has announced that it has been decided in future that the term naval aviation is to describe the Royal Navy's aviation organisations. The terms Fleet Air Arm and Naval Air Arm are to be used only historically. The word "naval" should be used before the designations of naval aviation personnel, for example, naval pilot.
