HOSPITAL BENEFITS FROM RAID ON DANCE
Received Fridav, 9.30 p.m. CANBERR A, Sept. 6. Qualitv liquor from the Legation colonv in Canberra is now tickling the palates of old-age pensioners in tne local coiiimunity liospital. The liquor, which was confiscated in the jiol ic e rain on the Victory Ball at Barton House, has been handed over to the hospital for Avant of a better metliod of disposing of it. The gift, which eonsisted of gin, whisky and port, is describect as being for liiedie.inai ])iirposes.
