Received Saturday, 10 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 6. It is officially reasserted from Salonika that a Greek Air Force plane was shot down by Yugoslavia on the frontier, near Guevgeli, says Reuter's Athens correspondent. The aircraft, which was stated to be Iost, flew over Yugoslavia. The Greek authorities have opened an inquiry. In Belgrade today the U.S. Ambassador to Yugoslavia, Mr. Richard Paterson, discussed with Marshal Tito the United States' demands for compensation arising from the shooting down of two planes over Yugoslavia.
