WELLINGTON, Sept. 6. The Boy Scout Association today announced that Sir Joseph G. D. Waro, Bt., of ranterbury, has been appointea leader of tlie Xew Zealand rontingent to the Sixtli World Jamboree which is to be lield at Moisson 011 the River Seine, 45 miles from Paris from Augusi 9 to 18, 1947. Sir Joseph Ward is the County ronunissioner for the Boy Scout Association for the Canterbury Scout County, and is a son of the late Sir Cvril Ward and a grandson of the late Rt. H011. Sir Joseph Ward, one-time Prinie Minister of New Zealand. ConsiderablA interest in the Jamboree is being shown right throughout Xew Zealand, but the present lack of crefinite information as regards the shipping position next year is making the organisation of the Xew Zealand rontingent for the Jamboree ratlier diliicult.
