RACE TO SAVE SHEEP
Received Wednesday, 9.10 p.m. SYDNEY, Sept. 4. Loaded to capacity, thousands of motor trucks are being driven day and night in a final effort to bring millions of sbeep from the droughtstricken districts in the north to good pastures in the south. Every type and age of vehicle that can be mobilised has been pressed into service in the race for which the prize is wool from the State's valuable flocks. Efforts to drove the sheep and cattle to the south have failed becanse there is no feed on the stook routes.
