Athletic Club w'rote saying that it ,was its desire to enter a challenge for, the McLennan and'Easton . Cups on September , 14. — Acceptedf but.the game to be played after Foxton and Shanpon had iplayed their challenge. The ..Manawatu Union . wrote asking for the Horowhenua Union .to s.uggest a suitahle date on which •the winners of the respective junior competitions could .play. for tne Rowlands Cup this year. . It was also advised that the Bunnythorpe Club would be the winners of the Manawatu junior competition and that' the game would have to he before 1.30 p.m. — Accepted for September 21. i Mr. Oochrane, on behalf of the Foxton Football Club, re-donated the Ramsbotham Cup, which had been won outright' by the Foxton Olub last year. The cup was to be' redonated on the conditions that it

be a perpetual challenge cup, and that in the event of the union going intq recess , the cup be , returned to the Foxton Club ' immediately, The cup was accepted by the union and will be played for this season. It was decided to send a letter to the Wanderers junior team, congratulating them on winning the junior championship and on the promising type of football they had. played' during .the season.
