Al-CKLim s.-pt. 2. Finality was reached in tlie New Zealand University winter tournament today when the soccer and men 's hoekey and basketball competitions were completed. By winning the hockey and being bracketed first in the soccer with Ganterbury and Otago. Auckland representatives increased their lead iu the tournament sliiehl contest to w i u the trophy by a good inargin. Otago, who won the shield last vear, was runner-up. The men's golf is to be linished toniorrow. but the result cannot affect the placing of the teams.
