Received Wednesday, 11. oO p.m. LOXDOX, August 28. While climbing in Bwit/.erland witn the Oxford I'niversity Mimntaineeriug Club, Flight Lieut. W. (Pat; Esquilant, A.F.C., from Dune.din, was killed. Flight Lieut. .M. K. Conway, from Christchurch, suffered a fractureu pelvis. No details are at present available. Flight T/ieut. Esquilant, who was a compelent climber and member of the Xew Zealand Alpine Club and Britisti j section of fhe Swiss Alpine Club, recently joined the staff of the historieaL | section of R.N.Z.A.F. Headquarte.rs, j London. Flight Lieut. Conway is a i former sc.hool teacher who is taking a I rehabilitation c.ourse at Oxford. Both I joined the party in Hvvitzerland. Hquadron Leader F. A.
