MR. STEPHEN HENRY DEATH

The sudden death of Mr. Stepben Henry Death yesterday removed from this district a well-known and respected figure. The late Mr. Death was born at Upper Hutt 50 years ago, and for the past 24 years had been employed by the Levin Dairy Company in cream collection as a lorry driver. Being ih this occupation for so many years he became very well known among farmers in the district and he will be missed among them for some time to come. It was while still engaged in his life's occupation that he collapsed and died. He had been in poor health for some time, and at the time of his death was receiving medical attention. Mr. Death was married some years ago * to Miss Myrtle Mary Jenson, and he is survived by his wife, one daughter, Melva, and his mother, who lives at Muhunoa East. The funeral will take place tomorrow at Levin.
