The former. after transacting business on the Appeal Board at Auckland, accompanied Mrs. Calwell to the hot springs at Ngawha, near ; Kaikohe. The sojourn was a most enjoyable one. > Enjoyable Dance : The dance held on Friday night at the Raiiway Hall by the Otaki Basketball Club was most successful, and all present spent an enjoyable time. Music was supplied by Doris Cleal's dance band and was fullv appreciated, wliile members of " the club supervised _ supper arrangements. Mr. "Chum" Blomfield was an ablc M.C.
