Mr. J. P. Forsyth, of Canterbury University College, is spending the August vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Forsyth, of Trafalgar Street, Levin. Mr. W. G. Phillips, who recently returned ' from serviee overseas with the 2nd N.Z.E.F., has resumed ;his employment as accountant to :the Horowhenua Electric Power Board. Mrs. H. Foley, of Levin, who has' been visiting Australia, has returned to Levin. She left Sydney on Sunday in the flying-boat "Awarua" which made the crossing to Auckland in 7 hours 50 minutes and yesterday flew from Auckland to Palmerston North.
