Official Observer for the Royal Aero Club, Mr. E. W. Fearse, untii s fecently Fresident of the New Zealand Aero Club, told repdtters at Obakea on Saturday that Aries had broken both the official and unofficial records for the England-New Zealand trip. The time of 59 hours 51 minutes registered by Aries is 54 minutes better than the unofficial record set up by Squadron Leader A. J. Bradshaw and 44 hours 9 minutes better than the record of Group Captain A. E. Clouston.
