CALCUTTA, Aug. 18. High police officials estimate the casualties in the three days' fighting at 1000 dead and 4000 injured. More than 3000 hres in the paSt 4'S hours have blazed throughout the city, and the fire brigades, since the disturbances began, have answered 120'o calls, one-third of which were made today.
