N.Z. DELEGATES TO LABOUR CONFERENCE
WELLINGTON', August 17. Tlie New Zealand delegation to tlie 29tli session of the International Labonr Conferenee, which will be held at Montreal, will leave New Zealand on the liner Mariue Falcon from Aucldand on the 17th. It was announced b.v the Prime Minister today that the delegation will comprise the following Govefmnent delegatea: Ilon. David Wilson Higli Commissloner for New Zealand at Ottawa, Miss K. T. Skyring, Inspector of Factories. Department ot Labour, Auckland, Mr. II. G. Dunearn head office, Department of Labonr, W ellmgton, as adviser. The workers' delegate will be .Mr. J. H. Thompson, secretary of the New Zealand Plumbers' Industrial Union of Workers, Wellington, and the, employers' delegate will be Mf. H. E. Edgley, secretary of the Hawlce's Bay Employefs' Association, Napier. The conferenee will open on September 19 and is expected to continue until Oetober 10. . The subjects for discussion at the conferenee are: Director's report, oonstltutional questions, protection of children and young workers, nunimum standards of soeial policy in dependent territories, and reports on application of conventious.
