D. Campbell, E. Chester, I Wylie, R. Rasmussen and J. A. ICreagh (secretary) . Apoiogies foi j absence were received from Mes- ! I dames S. W. Barber and Hateley | jTwo new .committee members, | Mesdames Rasmussen and F. I Edmonds were given a hearty wel- ' come. The secretary read a letter from jthe sister-in-charge of the Awa[puni Home, conveying thanks for. I and appreciation of, thf gifts oi jiot water bag covers and bed isocks, etc., sent to the patienus ! there. It was decided that a numj ber of knee-cap covers be knitted and sent to the elderly patients at •Awapuni Home. Mrs. Creagh reported that a colllection had been made from the .food for Bfitain boxes in the. ! grocery establishments in Shau- • nan, and 22 tins of foodstuffs and lone large tm of fat had been sent I m the Palmerston North Red Cross j Centre. It was decided to make a 1 further collection from the boxes. and also to collect the fat which | had been left at the railway stai lioh.
