Messrs. Townsend and Paul, Ltd., fruit and produce merchants,- Wellington, report that fruit auctions I have again been well attended ! with immediate supplies offering. All citrus has realised ceiiing, : while tree tomatoes and Chinese i gooseberries have been placed to taavantage. A keen demand still 1 ixists for all seasonal blooms, poppies, coldors and daftodlis being jreadily placed. All varieties of •vegetables have been in demand, Iswedes, carrots and caulifiowers 1 being sought. There has, however, ibeen an over-supply of parsnips, Ipumpkins and kumeras are want- : ed.
