DRUGS VALUED AT £800 STOLEN

WELLINGTON, August 15. Drugs vulued at. £800 were stolen on Tuesday night from a Health Depart ment Htore in (Seaview Road, Lower Hutl. (Some of the drugs are danger ous ones, and they include a quantity of opium. The store is part of a Jarge group of buildings on the Seaview Reelamatkm^ I'ormerly used as military stores. A ear was see n 011 Tuesday evening to bdriven on» to the reclamation along a rough traek, a point sutiicient to attracx attention, as there are two good rohds which would serve the purpose of anyone apjiroaching the store. (Subsequently a c-ar containing four men drove ol'f along Seaview Road towards Petone shortly after 8 p.m. Thefts in Ihe (Seaview Road area have been frequent ever since the military gua'rd on the . stores was removed.
