Afterwards he said that his brotlier was eaptain of the Duntroon team whieh lost the Forsyth Shield to Public Schools in 1943. His brotlier, now in Japan with the occupat.on fore.es, had written recentlv telling him he had to get it back. If he didn't, said his brotlier, he had better not retuyn to Palmerston North. Dunti-oon reclaimed the shield by-a brilliant display after Schools led 15 — 11 with ten minutes to go.
