SHOPPERS' BUS SERVICE
M.
THOMPSON.
Sir, — May I, through the columns of your paper, bring before the notice of the appropriate authorities the need for a shoppers' bus service to operate on the main thoroughfares of Levin. Even if such a service was provided once a day to cater for parcel-laden housewives returning to their homes, I am sure this would prove a boon to many and be well patronised. For years I have walked, strugglmg with children and parcels, hoping that someone would be enterprising enough to commence such a service. Undoubtedly the war years made such a venture impossible, but fvith •peace here surely improved conditions for mothers and housewives r.a/n hp pynpp.l.prl — Vmirs ptp
