IVKU.lXdTOX, AiiKuxt The Australian Red ('ross has recovered some of the lilins and photographic eqnijinient which Mr. Dallas t'ressy, a New Zealand prisoner of war, hid in Bicvcle Camp, Patavia. This was announced bv the Doniinion serretarv of the New Zealand Red (.'ross Society, -M r. M. S. Galloway. The filnis show life in the Jajiane.se internment canip, and ZM r. Gressy, who took theni while inijiri.srmed, hid tliemi and his cameras in the rafters of camp' buildings. Ile had to Jeave them there! when he was transferred. l Ile drew plans of the cainp, showingj where they vvere hidden. These he gavej to the New Zealand Red ('ross Society! and, on its request, the R.X.Z.A.F. flewj them to the 'Australian Red Cross, ' which was in eharge of the area. j Tlie Australian oilicers found that' part of the buildings in which the films and cameras were hidden had been demolished for fuel. The cameras are missing* but arrangemenls are in Itand for tlie returu to Mr. Cressy of those filins which were recovered.
