INVERCARGILL, August (5. The Presliytery of Soutliland iias declared its unwililng iess to participale in any of the prolil - of the Invercargill Lir-ensing Trust. At a nieeting of the Presliytery the follouing mution vvtis carried unaniinouslv : — " As a situalion has ariseu where a reiigious organisat ion has been ofl'ereil a donation froni ihe jirolits of ihe Invercargill Liceiisiug Trust, the I'resliyterv of Soutliland deenis it wise to declare its mind on the niatter. The I'resliyterv is unwilling in itself or tli rough its assoeiated organisations, to juirt ieipate in any prolits derived froni the Invercargill Licensing Trust and it advises all organisations of this chureh to adopt a similar attitude.*' "This resolution is iu line with our historic attitude in New Zealand vher.» we liave steadily declined all direet jirul'tts froni the sale of liquor, " said Rev.
