WELLINGTON, August 5. An infensive search is being carried out along tlie coast by parties- unaer the eontrol of the Wellington poliee and over Coolc Btrait itself by planes of the j Royal New Zea-land Air Foree, but :io ; trac-e has been found of the two- men j and a youth who were reported missing on a fishing expedition from Ohiro- Bay. The occupants of the dinghy are: — Mr. Albert Edward Goodwin, 49, of 152 Ohiro Bay Road. Stephen Goodwin, 12r hia son. Mr. George Smith, 35, brother-in-law of Mr. Goodwin, of 152 Ohiro Bay Road. Harvards searched the Palliser Bay area and later they were assisted by two Hndsons, brought to Wellington from Ohakea and Wigram. A Catalina left Auckland about midday, and was due in Wellington early this afternoon to assist. Following the negative results in the Palliser Bay area it was the Air Force 's intention to extend the search further to the south-east. Frequent broadcast warni'ngs were. made last niglit aslcing residents on the.coast and ships in- the area to- keep. a lookout.
