WELLINGTON, August 5. In an urgent question in the Ilouse, asked by Mr. E. B. Gorbett (Egmont) of the Minister of Tiulustries and Commerce, information was sought on the decision of the Commission of Inquiry to consider whetlier costs, aliove the price realised, ineurred in holding tlie retail price of butter and clieese in Xew Zealand', could under the provisions of the stabilisation agreement, be debited to the Dairy Industry Ntabilisation Account. x The question was also asked if the decision. had been received by the Government and if so, when would a public statement be- made. Hon. D. G. Sullivan, replying, said the report of the Commission was received last week, the time for- reporting being extended at the Commission 's request from Ma-rch 31 to July 31. "The report is at present receiving the consideration of the Government and will be laid' on the table of the House shortly/' he said.
