BURMA'S GOVERNOR RESIGNS
Reeeived Monday, 10.50 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 4. Lieut.-General Dormaii-Smith has been advised by his doct'ors that it is inadvisable for him to re- ] turn to a tropical climate, so he has resigned the Governorship o'f Burma. Major-General H. E. Rance has been appointed suceessor, taking i over from the Acting-Governor, Sir Henry Knight, towards the end of the month.
