Personal . •, ■ Mrs. George Murrell is at present in Auckland on account of- the serious illness of her sister. Mrs., Campion, of Reikorangi, .is at present seriously ill at Wellington. The death occurred yesterday at the Palmerston North Hospital of Mr. Charles Edward Stone, who had resided in Otaki for the past Den years. Mr. Stone, who was 89 years of age, was well-known for nis quiet, unassuming nature, and was popular with all who knew him. Mr. Stone leaves a grownup family of two sons to mourn their loss. Two sons paid the supreme sacrifice overseas, while his wife and a daughter died some time ago. The funeral takes place at Wellington.
