WELLINGTON, July 31. The Minister of Lands, Hon. C. F. Skinner, announced today that the Governor-General has appointed Mr. James Oliphant, solicitor, of Auckland, to he the chairman of the Hamilton Land Saies Committee in place of Mr. S. Lewis.
