EX-SERVICEMEN'S CONFERENCE

AIR EORCR ASSOCIATION NOT PARTICIPATING j WELLINGTON, July ' 31. Mr. L. G. W. Lilly, Dominion president of the Air Force Association, announced that through circ.umstances over which his association had no control, it was not participating in the combined exservicemen's conference at present being held in Wellington, although it was originally intended that they should do so. Mr. Lilly said recent reports had indicated that the association was participating, but while it was unquestionable that iinity among ex-servicemen's organisations was very necessary, his association was not committed to support any recommendations of the present conference unless such recommendations had been made known to, and were approved by, all branches.
