horowhenlla teams to play manawatu On Saturday next, August 3, three Manawatu basketball teams, one senior and two junior, will play Horowhenua senior and junior basketball teams on the Levin Domain grounds commencing at 2 p.m. The following girls will r epr esent Horowhenua : — A grade.— Senior A: J. Winiata (captain), C. Bell, D. Rowe, M. Nicholson, M. Karauti, R. Long, E. Hocking, M. O'Donnell, E. Catley, I. Hudson, D. Galloway aiid Y. Lutz. B grade.— A team: A. Denton (captain), H. McDonnell, R. Ransfield, R. Davis, ,N. Doyle, V. Wiiliams, D. Gray, R. Meta, S. Fox and K. Maclean. B team: C, Lynch, M. Brash, G. Chester, P. Bell, L. Fuller (Shannon) , P. Ralph, J. Clough, P. McDonnell (captain) and A. Calleson. Girls are asked-to note that there will be -no association ' matches on this Saturday. A meeting will be held at the college on Thufsday at 5 p.m. to discuss tournament inatters, and the senior A and senior B teams are requested to be present There will be a senior A and senior B practice on the Levin Domain at 10.30 a.m. and a B gfade practice for both A and S teams on the domain at 11.15 a.m. on Saturday, August 3.
