Received Friday, 10 a.m. ISTANBUL, July 25, Protests against the election results are pouring in from widespread areas. After a warning from the military commander in Istanbul that action would be taken against them if they disturbed public tranquility, few newspapers are expected to publish the formal statement from Celar Bayar, the Democrat Leader, in whjch he accuses the election officials of falsification and claims that members of his party were menaced, beaten and wounded. The official result of the General Election is as follows: People's Party, 395 seats; Democrats, 66; Independents, 4. Marshal Chakmak, chief of staff, headed the list of candidates at Istanbul, almost 100 per cent. of the electorate voting for him.
