Hospital Statistics

The medical superintendent at the Palmerston North Hospital, Mr. J. H. North, reported to yesterday's meeting of the Hospital Board that patients adrnitted during June totalled 399, 16 dying and 381 being dischar-ged. The daily occupied bed figure was 350.23. Eleven infectious disease cases had been adrnitted during the month, comprising five of scarlet fever, and one each of diphtheria, hydatid, poliomyelitis, meningitis, erysipelas and tetanus.
