ATHLETIC THIRDS WIN
A game that was full of interest was played on the Otaki domain on Saturday when Rahui thirds and Athletic met. Some bright play was witnessed and ti " man~ ner in which players oi uot.n sides handled the ball, especially on •such a muddy ground, did them credit. Tliey passed well and made f ew mistakes, while in the scrums and line-outs good play resulted. 'Athletic gained the verdict by a try, scored by Sharp, which was not converted, to nil. Although beaten Rahui had the better of the play territorily. Mr. Graham was referee.
