Xeither appeared greatly troubled by the bowling of Sohoni and Amarnath, although they could not take liberties with Amarnath, who bowled negativelv to an arrav of leg iielders. t.'ompton and Huttoii treated Ylankad respectfully and progressed chiefly by singles.
