R.S.A. DANCE
— Tlie Shannon branch of the Returned Services' Association held an enjoyable dance in the Druids' Hall on Thursday evening. It was unfortunate that the weather conditions were unfavourable and the number of other attractions throughout the clistrict madc attendance not as large as was . expected. However, those present spent a most delightfui ovening dancing to the music of Billy Larkin's orchestra and the efficient' manner in which the function was conducted should make future dances held by the association very popular. The members of the women's section were responsible for the enjoy:able supper. A number of competition dances were held.
