OTAKI BOY SCOUTS
COMMITTEE MEETING A meeting of the committee oi the Otaki Boy Scouts' Association was lieid on Wednesday last, Mr. W. K. Berry presiding. There were also present Mesdames Mofiatt, Allan, Synnott. Miss Street (secretary) and Messrs. Moss and Nicolson. Apologies were received from Mesdames Henwood and Rule, and Messrs. Edhouse, Rountree; Rule, Stephenson and Hannah. It was reported that the extra elass-room at the Maori Coliege had been granted the Scouts. The chairman reported that he liad , cancelled the Druids' Hall fcr the cold months, and that in future card evenings would be held at private hcmes. The first of these had been held at Mrs. Synnott's and the next would be held at Mr.;. McGilligan's. Lady members of the ccmmittee promised help for the supper, oifering to suppiy eatables. ! It was decided, in connection ■with the exliibition, that the Director-General of the P. and T. Department be written to, with a view to obtainmg the exhibition set of stamps. It-was also decided to wrifce to the Hobbies' Club, Wellington, with the view of obtain - ing the cvBiHts.
