EDUCATION BOARD ELECTION
RESULTS NEXT WEDNESDAY Results of p'olling, which closed this week, in the election for the Wellington Education Board, will be announced on Wednesday next. In the Hutt-Horowhenua area there are three candidates, one to be elected; for the Wellington" uvban area six, three to be elected; for the Hutt- Petone area two, one to be elected; for the Wairarapa rural area two, one to be elected; land for the Marlborough area four, one to be elected. Mr. W. R. Nicol was re-elected unopposed for the Masterton urban area. Colonel T. W. McDonald (Hutt-Horowhenua) and Mr. H. Duckworth (Marlborough) are not seeking re-election. The candidaies are: — Wellington urban area; Messrs. C. E. H. Ball, F. L. Combs, JN. E. Dalmer, A. L. Holloway, N. R. Sed- , don, W. J. Wilson. Hutt-Horowhenua Nward: Messrs. V. J. Cottle, D. K. Guy, A. F. V/. Jackson. Hutt-Petcne urban area: Messrs. Henry Heyes, James McDonald. 1 Marlborough ward of the rural area: Messrs. S. T. Bright, H. C Mills, M. W. J. Neal, D. M. Wemyss. Wairarapa yvard of the rural area: Messrs/ H. J. McKenzie, P. G. Tredray.
