CIVIC THEATRE
TO-NIGIIT AND FRIDAY NIGHT "Tiger Fans" is not one of the documentary films of a Buck Hunt for wild animals, .but, offering a man-made story, designed for the star's talents, it is more continuously thrilling than anything that has come out of the jungle in many years. Frank Buck, the world's Number One Wild Animal -Man, is excellent in a characterisation that is not at all unlike his real-life role; n either Hollywood nor the big-top could have offered a more perfect man for the difficult role. June Duprez, who started her rapid climb to stardom so auspiciously in "The Thief of Bagdad," is as convincing as she is charming in the leading feminine role. Others in the cast whose performances warrant special mention are Duncan Renaldo, Howard Banks, J. Farrell Ma'cDonald, and J. Alex Havier. There's plenty of laughs in store for Civic Theatre patrons to-night when the Warner • Bros. comedy "Always a Bride," opens locally as the second attraction. The film is a hilarious tale of a young Miss who finds herself engaged to two men. Rosemary Lane and George Reeves are starred as a romantic couple who have to thwart the plans of John Eldredge who plays fhe role of a sideline suitor.
