YOUNG FARMERS' CLUB
BltANCH FORMEI) AT OPIKI A meeting convened by Mr. B. Olsen at Opiki recently had 'as its object the formation of a Young Farmers' Club in ihe district. Mr. D. E. Chamberlain addressed tliose present and explained- the objects of such a club and gavc many uset'ul hints and suggostions. A'ciub was subsequently formed, gll tliose present joining up. Mr. B. Olsen was elected eliairman and Mr. C. Vile secrelary and treasurer. It was decided to hold meetings on the first Wcdnesday of y*ch rnoiith. " It is hoped that all those eligible will join and make the club the success it deserves to be. Intending members are invited to attend the next meeting, which will be held.in the school on August 7. Mr. Stewart Richardson, vicepresident of the Kairanga Y.F.C., was present by invitation.
