Lester 88 — 24 '—64. : The ladies' top competition resuited in Mesdames Beech and Boon holding the honours. On Sunday afternoon the weather was again unscttled, but •players enjoycd a good afternoon : on the links. A ladies' medal round ; resuited in a win for Mrs. Lester | with a card of 81 nett. - All men members who have not l yet played the medal round are reminded that all cards must be in before next Sunday. In a very evenly contested game for the "top dogs," the holders, Mesdames Beech and Bason, were defeated by Miss L. Beech ana Mrs. Lester, two up and oue to play. The following is the draw for the ladies' handicap championship. The first round is to be completed by August 3: Mrs. Boon v. Mrs. Birch, Mrs. Baker v. Mrs. Bason, Mrs. Higgie v. Mrs. Beech, Mrs. Robinson v. Mrs. McCiymont, Mrs. D. Simes v. Mrs. A. Simes and Mrs. Lester v. Miss L. Beech. Mrs. Elvines and Miss Simes have a bye.
