Later in the afternoon, atter in formation had been received from Wellington tliat the crews of ships involved in the dispute thereli had agreed to put to sea, it was decided to hold aoother special stopwork meeting - at 9.30 tomorrow morning to diseuss tlie matter. The dispute, which concerns 1lie heating and lighting of the crew's quarters, started in Auckland 011 Satnrday when the crew of the steamor Korowai refnsed to put to sea; They were.supportcd in their action bv Ihe crews of the collier Kaimiro and by this evening 11 ships were involved. in tlie pori, of Onehunga two small coastal ships are affected by the dispute while another is delayed through a shortage in her crew. j Tn the event of the dispute being settled in tlie morning, it is lioped by the shipping compa.nies coneorned, that the ships, many of which are fultv loaded, will sail tomorrow.
