WELLINGTON, Jlliy lb. Crew representatives of tlie coastal vessels att'ected by the heat and light dispute, Wellington, today met National (Jouncil members including the president, Mr. F. P. Walsh, and decided to take the ships to sea, leaving the furtlier prosecution of the dispute in the hands of the National Council. The searnen added a rider to their rosolution to resunie work, calling on the crews at Westport, Auckland and other centres affected, to work the ships . until the decision of the National Council meeting tomorrow is made known. The Arahura, the only inter-island ferry affected, will sail tonight and make up the lost trip with a dayliglit ■ voyage tomorrow. The Omana. and the other ship affect ; ed at Nelson, are expected to sail. this j afternoon.
