A verdict that Agne Winifred Strong, 70, was murdered by her hqsband, Charles Alfred Strong, 69, on July 3, vyho cut her throat with a carving knife and then committed suicide by hanging, was returned by the Coroner, Mr. W. G. L. Meilish, at an inquest in Lower Hutt. The couple had been found dead in their residence, on July 6.
