BIG DEVELOPMENT PLAN ' \' Snggested plaps for the development . pf Ylay^ord Park to make it an up-to-date motor camp, with hutments, camping sites and all modern facilities and amenities, were putlined in a report whiph Cr. F. E. Parker hrought before Monday night's special meeting of thp Levin Bprough Couneil. * The Mayor (Mr. H. B. Burdekin) said the plan was an ambitious one, and wonld necessarily be a long-term one. Cr. Parker considered that no work should he done until the couneil was prepared to develop the park fully and properly. The couneil set up a sub-com-mittee, comprising Crs. Parker (chairman), F. D. Chainey, V. E. Hudson and W. Telford, to go further into the matter and report to the couneil from time to time on the progress being made.
