It included: i Earth-moving equipnient and siiniiar'j plant, 2,274,000 dollars; hand tools tor j carpenters and engineers, 55,000 dollars; I miscellaueous textiles, 55,000 dollars; tiuiber, SG2,000 board feet, valued at 3S,000 dollars; miscellaneous steel buildings. 254,000 dollars; tyres and tnbes, 250,000 dollars; miscellaneous stores Ln New Zealand, 450,000 dollars; various items purcliased outside New Zealand, 30,000 dollars; spare parts for heavy equipuient, 99,000 dollars; -fTeight, ctc. on purchases from the Pacilic, 491,00(1 dollars; niaking the total for the purchase 4,000,000 dollars. New Zealand was also acquiring eertain civilian aircraft valued at 750,000 dollars. These items comprised the total- purchase in the recent Wasliington settlement.
