WOMAN STRUCK BY CAR
SATUItDAY NIGHT ACCIDENT While proceeding; along Ballance Street at- approximately 7.30 p.m. on Saturday evening Mrs. O. Doyle, oi" Vogel Street, was accidentaiiy struck by a motor cai driven by Mr. h". Picard, of Graham Street. Heavy rain was faliiilg at the tinie, making visibility almost impossible. Neithcr the dt'iver nor the occupahts of the car were aware of the aec.ident until t'he car stopped a few yards further on to allow passengefs- to aiight. Mrs. Doyle,' who was suffcring from shock, was taken to her home, where she was attended by a doctor and the district nurse.
