Personal Miss T. Atkinson, of Rotorua, is the guest of Mrs. Crowther, Stafford Street. ' Mr. Bibby, Junr., left Shannon on Tu'esday for Pahiatua, where he nas obtained a position on a sheep station. Mr. H. McEwan, of Auckland, is a visitor to Shannon, where he is ihe guest of Mrs. G. McEwan, Senr., oi' Ballance Street. Mr. L. Smith, who until recently was employed as a driver on Mr. R. Bibby's staff, left yesterday to take up a new position in Palmerston North. Flag 500 Winners The winners of the flag 500 conducted by the Women 's Section oi the R.S.A. in Laurvig's Hall on Monday evening were Mesdames R. Andrew and W. Third and Messrs. J. Sinclair and V. Whiteman. R.S.A. Executive A meeting of the executive committee of the R.S.A. waS held in the Borongh Chambers on Wednesday evening. Arrangements were completed for the general meeting and address to be given by the district vice-presiaent of the N.Z.R.S.A., Mr. H. B. Burdekin,' in the Druids' Hull on Saturday evening.
