Retter, the Shannon Club captain, thanked the Ohau team for an enjoyable evening and expressed the hope that the two clubs would meet
again in the very near future. In reply, the Ohau captain (Mr. E. Pilgrim) thanked the Shannon members for their hospitality, and assured them that a keen match would be played on the next occasion. Mr. Pilgrim also remarked on the delightful supper provided by the ladies- of the Shannon Club.- ■
