ATHLETIC THIRDS WIN
Athletic met Rahui thirds at the Otaki Domain and the game resull ed in an easy win for Athletic by 1points to nil. Athletic scored thrp tries, one of which Judd converted while Rankin kicked a penalt* goal. Athletic had the better of th play. although Rahui in the seconr half put in a few creditable dasher -Athletic passed better and ha' superior combination in all depart ments, while Rahui's play lackecombination, but at times showw good individual effort. Rahui" tackling was not good, but on th' other hand Athletic's was sound Mr. Lacey was referee.
