REGENT THEATRE

Most people who met Deanna Du'rbin for the first time have the same reaction. Their comment invariably is: "My, she's even pretuier in person than on the screen." And it's been true, up till now. Not ihat Deanna has stopped being beautiful; on the contrary, she is lovelier than ever. But, for the first time, Deanna will be seen by her many fans as she rea'ily is, in her new picture, Universai's technicolour film-musical, "Can't Help Singing." The filni^ which is due today for two days only at the Regent Theatre, is the lovely star's first technicolour venture and, according to those in the know, it does her full justice. The carnflower blue of her eyes, the golden glints in her hair and her enviable, luminous skin are no longer a matter of hearsay. Bookings heavy, but good seats are still available. Remember to collect all unpaid reservations by 7.30 p.m.
