MERIT CERTIFICATES FOR EMPLOYERS

"•Merit .certifiqates' ' fgr employers are suggested by the Amalgamated Engineering Union which deeided at its anpual conferepcej to ask the Minister of Labour to discuss a plan for allocating such certificates. The union suggested that firrns maintaining good working conditions should he granted certificates, whereas union memhers would hlacklist firms falling below standard.
